July Newsletter

The first six months of 2026 are almost in the record books. Where has the time gone? It been a unique year for weather with all the rain and cooler temperatures until now. The lawns are so plush and green. I was able to take a road trip this weekend and saw that the crops in the fields were looking very healthy. The corn should be “knee high by the 4^th of July.” We truly are fortunate.

I hope everyone is looking forward to the summer. Summer will definitely be coming with the temperatures starting to rise. Spending those days on the lake sure sounds like a wonderful idea. Or an even better idea is taking a road trip to Happy Stampers and bringing some friends. The air conditioning is always on! I’d love to see you.                                                                                                                                                                                           

The July class schedule is on the website. Betty will be offering a very creative card class. Sandee will be taking the month of July off to recuperate. Make it a point to try something new this summer and start by signing up for a great class.

There will be some hot monthly specials for July. From July 6 thru July 18 stamps and stamp sets will be 25% off the regular price. Then from July 20 thru August 1 all items with a Christmas-theme will be 25% off the regular price. There’s a great selection of stamps, dies, embossing folders, paper, 3D toppers and Diamond Dotz available with this special. Remember these discounts are good for all purchases during the entire sales period but are not eligible for reward card punches.

There are always new products coming in. I’m also always interested in adding new companies. Let me know if there is a company you’d like me to carry.  I’ve been getting in lots of new paper in many cool designs and colors. These are just perfect for backgrounds for your cards. If you’re into hot foiling, there is a great selection of hot foil plates in stock. Gina K has many deco-foil sheets that only need a hot laminator to apply with foil. Spellbinders sells a system using a heated plate which is then run through a die cutting machine to add foil to the paper. Both systems really add a touch of elegance to your cards and other projects. Both systems are in stock with plenty of cool foil colors.

My hours for the upcoming Independence Day holiday will be:

               Friday, July 3 – 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

               Saturday, July 4 – Closed
